Who we are

廣男講車 (Cantonese Guy Trading) runs this website and Alita, our AI car-import assistant, from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions are welcome at cantoneseguy.my@gmail.com.

What we collect

Google sign-in. Signing in is optional. When you do, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us — nothing else. We never see your password, Gmail, contacts, calendar or files.

Chats. When you are signed in, your conversations with Alita (including images and links you share) are saved to your account so you can revisit them. If you are not signed in, nothing is saved to an account.

Technical data. We process IP addresses and basic request logs to keep the service running and prevent abuse. We do not run advertising trackers.

How we use your information

We use your information to run the chat, generate your quotes, keep your chat history available to you, and keep the service safe. We never sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Who processes it for us

Google (sign-in and the Gemini AI models behind Alita), Supabase (accounts and chat storage) and Vercel (website hosting). Car-listing links you paste are fetched by a web-scraping service so Alita can read them — only the link is shared, never your personal details.

Retention and deletion

Your chat history stays in your account until you ask us to remove it. To delete your chats or your entire account (including the data we received from Google), email cantoneseguy.my@gmail.com from the address you signed in with.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the effective date below. Effective date: 12 June 2026.
